Ad Dimaniyat Islands (or Ad Dimaniyat Islands) Nature Reserve is located in Wilayat AlSeeb in the Muscat Governorate and lies about 18 kilometers (11 miles) off the coast of Barka 70 kilometers (43 miles) west of Muscat, the capital. It is composed of nine islands with a total area of 100 hectares (250 acres). The reserve has a rich natural heritage and is replete with several kinds of coral reefs, including some quite rare examples.
The islands are home to a large number of sea turtles that lay their eggs and nest there, as well as a magnet for migratory and indigenous birds. The world-famous islands are home to stunning coral and tropical fish including lots of turtles! Spend the day exploring the waters around the island looking for colorful fish, green turtles, and lots of coral.

I have had the pleasure of joining Capitano Oman on a couple of trips, including dolphing watching and snorkeling, and I couldn't be happier. Each time, I've been part of mixed groups with families and kids of all ages, and the experience has been always great!!

Chris, in particular, stands out with his friendly demeanor and great attitude, specially towards kids. He goes out of his way to help them in and out of the water, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The captain is also highly experienced, adding to the overall sense of safety and professionalism on board.

We booked the dolphin-watching and snorkeling trip and were greeted by a massive pod of dolphins within about 30 mins of leaving the marina. Chris from Capitano Oman had loads of information to share about the dolphins and was mindful to get a good balance of letting us enjoy the dolphins without feeling overwhelmed with information. Magical. When we moved on to snorkelling, Chris was amazing with the kids. He was also clearly environmentally conscious. It was a great way to spend a morning keeping cool in the May heat. Definetely, this company is highly recommended - Super flexible and high quality service. We did a dolphin trip and another one with snorkeling. Both were on time, well organised and reasonably priced. We also did the sunset cruise.
- Great trip! We did the dolphin watching plus snorkeling tour. Very nice boat. Saw dolphins right off the bow. Snorkeling was very nice. The provided gear was high quality. We saw several turtles, a cuttlefish and lots of pretty fish. Would recommend.
